Customer Support Training Coordinator I

Overview:

The Customer Support Training Coordinator is tasked with aiding and facilitating the upkeep of curriculum materials and the accurate archiving of educational content in SharePoint. This role necessitates adherence to Training and Performance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) standards. The Coordinator collaborates closely with program offices, Subject Matter Experts, instructors, and Instructional Systems Designers to assist in the maintenance and revision of lesson plans, student resources, and instructional media. This position operates under the close supervision of the Program Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handles customer service inquiries for updating course materials and documenting changes.
  • Records updates promptly.
  • Ensures adherence to proper naming conventions for all curriculum-related materials in SharePoint.
  • Archives educational content and maintains tracking logs on SharePoint or other designated platforms to ensure the relevance of course materials.
  • Actively oversees and manages the customer service mailbox.
  • Coordinates all requests for modifications to existing curriculum materials with Instructional Systems Designers and the relevant program office.
  • Facilitates all requests to amend Training Course Control Documents with Instructional Systems Designers and the relevant program office.
  • Provides weekly progress updates regarding course activities to the Curriculum Manager.
  • This position requires supervision and offers limited opportunities for independent judgment and initiative.

Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree, preferably in education, instructional design, or a related field, along with one (1) year of relevant experience, ideally in a training context.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and practices in a training environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is essential.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands required for this position include lifting, sitting, answering phones, typing on a keyboard, and moving files.
