Core Responsibilities

The Financial Accountability Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering expert budgetary and accountability services to enhance departmental and divisional management. This position involves the formulation of intricate procedures and methodologies for financial planning, cost management, and comprehensive strategies aimed at fulfilling departmental goals. Key responsibilities encompass budget oversight, performance metrics, cost management, contract administration, and conducting technical or business analysis projects.

Key Duties

  • Facilitate the compilation of regular or specialized reports for departmental management review and endorsement.
  • Collaborate with corporate entities to ensure the seamless flow of business information, aiding Department and Division Heads in maintaining operational and personnel budgets within defined frameworks.
  • Execute analyses related to technical or business operations, productivity, and the effective allocation of funds and resources.
  • Establish cost control protocols necessary to achieve financial, scheduling, and programmatic objectives.
  • Collect and document operational performance metrics, with a focus on identifying trends.
  • Oversee the creation and upkeep of statistical reports, visual presentations, and other materials for management use.
  • Guide the activities of subordinate staff as necessary.
  • Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field; certifications such as Certified Budget Specialist (CBS), CMA, or other relevant financial planning and analytics credentials are preferred.
  • Between two to six years of diverse experience in cost management, budgeting systems, business operations, or related fields; familiarity with performance measurement tools and methodologies, along with proficiency in analyzing key performance indicators.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely; strong writing skills and experience in documenting company-level performance achievements are essential.
  • Proficient in statistical and problem-solving analyses while adhering to time constraints; familiarity with relevant EDP systems and programs is required, alongside a strong work ethic and adherence to company policies and business etiquette.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), along with knowledge of Power BI and SAP is necessary.
