Job Title: Registered Nurse Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse-Oncology to join our team at TotalMed. As a Registered Nurse-Oncology, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
