Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Health Program Specialist I is responsible for providing specialty health care service liaison duties in the Registry Network Team. This position is critical to the Department's mission to provide constitutionally adequate and cost-effective health care services for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide liaison duties between the Registry Network Team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of health care services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Staff Services Manager I to develop and implement policies and procedures for health care services.
  • Provide support to the Registry Network Team in the development and implementation of health care programs and services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Working Conditions

This position may require travel and is located in Elk Grove, California, which offers a great mix of newly developed housing, business projects, and recreational opportunities.
