Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of five to six finance professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance atmosphere.
  • Direct the financial services team, encompassing payroll, reporting, auditing, and compliance.
  • Act as a leader in change management, collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient financial operations and processes.
  • Leverage expertise in Workday and related systems to enhance financial workflows.
  • Engage with the board through presentations and strategic discussions.
  • Lead initiatives for strategic acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures of business lines.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Deliver strategic financial insights to bolster organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the revenue lifecycle in senior living and healthcare services.
  • Ensure effective vendor and third-party contracting.
  • Manage and lead revenue cycle and payer contracting.
  • Oversee budget development and analytics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role within senior healthcare finance, post-acute care, or long-term care settings, preferably in a nonprofit context.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex organizations with multiple service lines and entities.
  • Strong leadership skills and political acumen to navigate a diverse organization and unify teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday is advantageous.
