Job Overview

Lakewood Automation is seeking a skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively seek out potential customers through cold calling and networking.
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with clients, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Present and promote Lakewood Automation's products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and services to provide value-added solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes within a required schedule.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate sales efforts.
  • Analyze the territory's potential and track sales and status reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree in sales, marketing, communications, or mechanical engineering-related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Valid and in good standing state driver's license required.
  • 4 or more years of outside sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic MS Office proficiency required.
