Cloud Networking Sales Representative

Alkira, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. This is a full-time position with great benefits and career potential.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement a sales strategy that meets company goals and excel at the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifying Leads:
Evaluate leads generated from marketing campaigns to determine if they are potential sales opportunities.
Outreach:
Reach out to potential clients through cold calls and emails.
Company Presentation:
Present company products or services to potential clients.
Needs Identification:
Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Customization:
Customize product solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Relationship Building:
Build long-term, trusting relationships with clients.
Business Opportunities:
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
Meeting Setup:
Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
Reporting:
Regularly report sales results to the Business Development Manager.
Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with new products, services, and pricing/payment plans.
Requirements and Skills:
Experience:
Work/intern experience as a BDR, Sales Account Executive, or in a similar role.
Sales Techniques:
Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calls.
CRM Software:
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Analytical Skills:
Understanding of sales performance metrics and proficiency in analyzing spreadsheets and charts using tools like MS Excel.
Communication:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Presentation Skills:
Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is desired but not required.

What We Offer:
Based on California pay transparency law, the annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000.
Your actual base salary and level will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and location. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Alkira.
