About Us:

Montessori School of Charlottesville is a reputable educational institution dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for students. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, emails, and handling correspondence
  • Organize and maintain accurate records, including staff and student files
  • Prepare billing and invoices for the School Accountant
  • Support inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Facilitate effective communication between caregivers, administration, and staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • A competitive hourly rate of $18-20, dependent on experience
