Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Terumo BCT. As a key member of our Information Technology Services (ITS) team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and availability for our system users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, maintain, and support LAN, WAN, Cloud, and VoIP infrastructures at all Terumo BCT locations globally.
  • Provide high-level technical support for voice and data network systems, create and maintain network documentation, and maintain hardware and software standards.
  • Work on projects to upgrade to new and/or improved communication equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure problem identification, isolation, and resolution within service level objectives for routers, switches, SD WAN appliances, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and associated network equipment.
  • Provide recommendations on strategic direction for network and telecommunications function to management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 7 years of in-depth experience working with Cisco/Meraki routers and switches, wireless, SD WAN, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a strong and dedicated team of technically diverse personnel.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, wide area, and cloud network concepts, designs, and implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of firewalls, including design, implementation, securely maintaining, and their operation in a global environment.
  • Ability to work in diverse teams with demonstrated troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Voice Over IP and QoS.
  • Ability to monitor and interpret network performance data to identify real and potential problem areas and make improvements.
