Job Summary

The Mail Services Representative will be responsible for the receipt and distribution of incoming mail from the facility and associated properties to the appropriate parties located in the LA Live office. This position will also assist with express shipping requests and accurately sort U.S.P.S. mail to the proper recipient/locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily mail drops, including sorting, routing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail pieces.
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages accurately and promptly.
  • Operate mailing equipment, such as postage machines, folders, and inserters.
  • Maintain inventory of mailing supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing bulk mailings and ensuring compliance with postal regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries regarding mail services.
  • Maintain organized records of mail and package transactions.
  • Support team members with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a mailroom or similar environment is a plus but not required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of postal regulations and mail processing is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
