As a key member of the Enterprise Data Centre (EDC) team, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of the delivery of BAU Data Centre operations across the Americas, including Enterprise, Colocation, Exchange, WAN, and Cloud facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the overall operation and maintenance of critical Hardware Break/Fix, IMAC, and Smart hands supporting IT operations across the Americas Data Centre space.
- Lead team and talent management, critical event management, incident management, problem management, change management, risk management, and cost/contract management.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with internal clients, including the Client Data Centre Operations team.
- Ensure escalation support is available on a 24x7 on-call basis, with occasional scheduled weekend work support as required.
This is a senior role that requires a proven track record of operating in a similar capacity, with responsibility for culture, people, talent development, and business alignment.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Data Centre operations, including hardware break/fix, IMAC, and Smart hands, as well as experience in team and talent management, critical event management, and risk management.
This is a hybrid role, requiring both technical and business skills, with a focus on delivering world-class Data Centre facilities management.
