Position: C-Well Operator

We are seeking a proficient C-Well Operator to contribute to our operations in Raleigh, NC. As a Certified Water Operator, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee water treatment plants and distribution networks, ensuring the provision of clean and safe drinking water to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain water treatment facilities, well sites, pumping stations, and storage units as required
  • Conduct inspections, perform tests, and review data related to systems and facilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document water samples to ensure compliance and process efficiency
  • Prepare necessary reports for regulatory compliance
  • Address service requests and work orders promptly
  • Monitor the quality of well water and groundwater
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on operational equipment
  • Assist in emergency response procedures
  • Administer chemical treatments to water and adjust treatment levels accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Execute back-washing of filters and basins
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements

Additional Duties:

  • Conduct inspections of facilities and vehicles
  • Install and read water meters
  • Serve as a point of contact between customers and service departments
  • Enhance operational efficiency and collaborate effectively
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities and surrounding areas

Required Qualifications:

  • C-Well certification is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in water treatment and distribution
  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and relevant regulations
  • Capability to operate and maintain water treatment machinery
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
