Job Summary

The Associate Director of Market Research will lead the development and execution of primary market research and secondary data analytics to inform decision making and drive business solutions at Novo Nordisk.

This role will work closely across the organization to guide enterprise-wide resource allocations, investment choices, and drive core operations to attain business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of marketing/sales reporting and analysis experience in a pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, or marketing organization, with 8 years of experience in primary market research or strategic consulting.

The Associate Director of Market Research will be responsible for:

  • Developing and sustaining close working relationships with key stakeholders, including MAPA, brand teams, and other functions within FIES
  • Ensuring clear and ongoing communication of integrated insights from primary market research and secondary data analysis
  • Representing Enterprise Insights LT and interacting at the Executive Team level
  • Assessing and developing new processes and techniques to advance market research capabilities and improve internal efficiencies
  • Championing the Triple Bottom Line in Market Research and internal strategy consulting

The Associate Director of Market Research will have excellent writing, presentation, project management, and influencing skills, with high proficiency in IQVIA data sets and other industry sources.

They will also have a strong understanding of drug development, commercialization, and lifecycle management, as well as the ability to influence people at senior levels in the organization and facilitate cooperation of internal and external partners.
