Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Support: Assist the Delivery Driver in navigating the delivery route, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Furniture Handling: Deliver customers' furniture, including assembly and installation of furniture when required, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Quality Control: Inspect furniture for flaws or damage, and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Assist the Delivery Driver in inspecting and cleaning the company vehicle to maintain its presentable and functioning condition.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including driving the company vehicle when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED, or specific degree requirements as specified by the company.
  • Licenses: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and be able to pass a D.O.T. Medical Physical.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands: High physical demands required, including standing for sustained periods, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 150 pounds individually and up to 300 pounds as a part of a team.
  • Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and be 21 or older.
