About the Role

Mizkan America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Owensboro, KY. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to our employees and management team in various HR-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Operations: Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization employees, and assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Serve employees with a customer service mindset, coach and guide employees with their questions, concerns, or issues, and collaborate with corporate HR and Payroll.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Conduct internal and external recruitment as required, and assist in wage and compensation analysis.
  • HRIS and Payroll: Conduct HRIS data entry and audit, and assist with payroll processing.
  • Employee Engagement: Conduct and assist with internal pulse checks of the workforce, and assist in coordination of organizational changes within the plant as business needs require.
  • Investigations and Compliance: Provide support for any investigations and provide feedback and follow up where appropriate, and coordinate filing of discipline, attendance, rewards recognition, and diversity programs and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years of HR experience, or a master's degree in HR Management and two years of experience in the HR field, or at least seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education experience.
  • Experience with ADP Vantage preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Prior experience in production or manufacturing with exposure to large populations and various shifts are preferred.
