**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at Abigail Kirsch, a premier catering company in New York. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of food items, adhering to recipes, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee and participate in the preparation of food items, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our clients.
  • Adhere to recipes and maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Control food and inventory costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Train and supervise a team of foodservice professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

**Requirements:**

  • At least two years of relevant experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Superior knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
