Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer, Senior to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems and components for use within equipment or machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop electronic systems and components to meet specific requirements and industry standards.
  • Support other engineers in the development and testing of electronic systems and components.
  • Apply knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices to ensure high-quality designs and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems and components into larger systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including hardware design and description documents, test reports, and proposals.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing complex electronic systems and components.
  • Experience with high-density PCB design, including component identification, library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, and Gerber and ODB++ file creation.
  • Knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and UL Safety standards.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software development in high and low-level programming languages.
  • Experience with VHDL or Verilog hardware description language.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD.
