Electronics Engineer Job Description

At Booz Allen Hamilton, we're seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems and components for use within equipment or machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electronic systems and components to meet specific requirements and specifications.
  • Support other engineers in the development and testing of electronic systems.
  • Apply knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices to ensure high-quality designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design and test reports.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics design and development, including experience with printed circuit board design and layout.
  • Experience with debug and repair of printed circuit boards and electromechanical devices.
  • Knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and UL Safety standards.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technical writing, including hardware design and description documents.
  • Experience with software development in high and low-level programming languages.
  • Experience with VHDL or Verilog hardware description language.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD.
