Patient Account Representative

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for resolving account balances and providing exceptional customer service to patients and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve account balances and negotiate payment plans with patients and insurance companies
- Communicate effectively with patients and insurance companies to resolve account discrepancies
- Update patient demographic information and initiate account adjustments
- Research and respond to patient inquiries received by telephone and mail
- Work independently with minimal supervision to meet productivity and quality standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year experience working in customer service or healthcare setting
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- PC skills in a Windows environment, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
