Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to support our transportation and logistics functions. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with drivers and vendors, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and resolve driver, sales representative, and customer issues
  • Communicate with drivers regarding route updates and provide support with backhaul and logistics operations
  • Utilize software to create, update, and communicate various reports and files for transportation functioning
  • Assist with damages and shorts process, including notifying vendors and drivers to find a resolution
  • Support logistics operations by scheduling pick up appointments for backhaul orders and vendors
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior logistics, transportation, and/or warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations and geographic delivery area
  • Certifications/training in transportation software and systems
Work Environment

The work will take place in an office environment with occasional work in warehouse environments, including cooler and freezer areas.
