Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Operations

As a key member of the Risk Application Operations support group, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the detection and troubleshooting of issues affecting normal operations of our Risk services across multiple platforms and applications
  • Deploying and maintaining UNIX/Linux clusters, adding and removing application Web Services, managing the coherence cache farm, and tracking running Risk application batch jobs
Collaboration and Communication

You will work closely with:

  • A team of associates globally on assigned projects, on-call escalations, service continuity, and requests for immediate production or client assistance
  • Product strategy, development, and technology groups to develop processes and operating procedures, monitor and triage problems, support the technology roadmap, and address technology debt
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux systems engineering and application support
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and quickly in supporting critical systems
