Key Responsibilities

In the capacity of Project Financial Analyst, you will be expected to:

  • Manage client billing, collections oversight, project initiation, and financial planning.
  • Oversee the preparation of project subconsultant contracts, purchase orders, and work confirmations, along with assisting in the coding and processing of subconsultant invoices, gathering timesheets, and expense report documentation for billing.
  • Ensure precise contract documentation, administration, and maintenance, including fee and budget entries.
  • Collaborate with section and project teams to deliver timely contract performance data and address financial concerns.
  • Support the development of project management and quality assurance plans.
  • Monitor and track project deliverables.
  • Document meeting minutes.
  • Assist various project managers and staff on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

This position does not involve general bookkeeping or payroll tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and applicable experience.
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles (project accounting preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize multiple tasks while collaborating with various managers in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Capability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
