Position Overview:
Join our esteemed team at FIFTH SEASON, a premier independent studio committed to delivering innovative entertainment that captivates audiences globally. We are in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to significantly contribute to our studio operations. The successful candidate will possess a robust accounting background, especially within the film and television sector, to guarantee precise financial reporting and adherence to compliance standards.
- Oversee daily, month-end, and quarter-end closing procedures for our Television and Film divisions.
- Engage with various departments to ensure the thoroughness and accuracy of data during the month-end closing process.
- Evaluate discrepancies and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement to streamline the closing process.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in the entertainment industry or a similar field in an accounting capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP systems
- CPA designation preferred; experience with Big 4 or public accounting is advantageous
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and working autonomously or collaboratively
