Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Heery. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing cost controls systems, analyzing financial data, and working with project teams to develop EACs and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage cost controls systems for small capex program reporting, including data assembly and validation for projects ranging in size from $100,000 to over $2 million.
  • Ensure consistent project reporting and analyze cost and financial data to identify trends that impact final cost projections.
  • Work with project teams to develop EACs and forecasts, and review and organize project data into cost systems and spreadsheets.
  • Monitor purchase order commitments, manage change orders, and adjust forecasts to reflect change orders.
  • Report actual vs. baseline cost status and prepare final cost reports for internal and external clients.
  • Create and maintain time-phased invoicing plans, aligned to project estimates and budgets.
  • Work with planners and schedulers to translate cost data into client proprietary progress and cost databases and spreadsheets.
  • Prepare graphic representation of data, such as progress curves and earned value.
  • Validate that all essential quantity data is being captured.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience with cost analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Ability to handle and process sensitive information and manage potentially volatile and litigious situations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; results-oriented; able to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $150K-$180K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
