We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Child Float Pool team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various units within the Maternal Child department, providing high-quality patient care and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.
About the RoleThis part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. As a Registered Nurse in our Maternal Child Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of patient care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in various units within the Maternal Child department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of Nursing experience
- Labor and Deliver OR NICU Experience
