Maintenance Manager Job Description at Altium Packaging LLC

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the proper functioning of our hydraulic electrical equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for making decisions regarding maintenance procedures, managing a team of mechanical and electrical personnel, and implementing preventative and routine maintenance activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and lead a team of mechanical and electrical personnel in the execution of safe and effective maintenance procedures
* Develop and implement a maintenance program that minimizes machine downtime and ensures equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards
* Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and solutions, and lead the training requirements and professional development of the maintenance team
* Responsible for managing spare parts inventory, complying with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations, and establishing goals and objectives for the maintenance department
* Accountable for improving equipment availability, advancing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and achieving plant reliability excellence

**Requirements**

* 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
* Injection molding or foaming experience preferred
* PLC experience a plus
