Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the physical plant and essential mechanical, electrical, and patient care equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Manage departmental budget, ordering supplies, and tracking inventory.
  • Coordinate and oversee activities of outside contractors and tradespeople in construction, repair, and maintenance of physical plant and equipment.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and analytic ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, codes, and regulations that apply to maintenance services and records of long-term care.
  • May supervise housekeeping and laundry departments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
