We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our team of skilled employees in the efficient and proper maintenance of our central utility plants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and managing the overall maintenance of our steam, chilled water, and combined heat and power plants on campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of skilled employees to ensure efficient and proper maintenance of our utility plants.
- Direct maintenance personnel in the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of utility plants that produce steam, chilled water, heating hot water, compressed air, treated water, and electricity.
- Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
- Manage spare part inventories and record systems to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
- Provide analysis of equipment inspections and failures, developing repair and replacement plans for existing plant equipment.
- Review plans and specifications for capital projects, ensuring constructability and maintainability of new equipment installations.
- Inspect construction/installation of utility system projects and new building utility infrastructure to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Provide recommendations and input to department budget process and spending plans, preparing and reviewing budget and spending for the mechanical maintenance team.
- Support system planning and recommend future steam, power generation, chilled water, natural gas, and heating hot water improvements and repairs.
- Develop and manage direct and indirect reports, including annual performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Possess high school diploma or G.E.D.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Steam or natural gas turbine experience.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Microsoft Office, managing the Maximo CMMS maintenance work order, equipment history, and record-keeping system.
- Compliance with regulatory bodies (PUCO, OEPA, OSHA).
- Ability to travel domestically up to 5%.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.

ENGIE North America Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $116,200 - $172,500 USD annually, plus a bonus/incentive plan.
