Position Overview: Team Lead at El Super

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster an atmosphere of exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
  • Conduct thorough store inspections at the start and conclusion of each shift.
  • Guide Crew Members to guarantee seamless shift operations.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders as necessary.
  • Adhere to cash management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the training and development of team members.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Assist in cross-training crew members across various departments.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

  • Support the oversight and guidance of Team Members.
  • Plan, allocate, and direct tasks effectively.
  • Inspire staff and address any concerns that arise.
  • Resolve team-related issues as they occur.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quick-service or casual dining restaurant operations or retail.
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience in grocery operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain control over shifts is essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engagement in standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and balancing throughout the workday.
  • Capability to work in proximity to moving machinery.
  • Must successfully pass background and drug screening.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

  • Utilization of roller carts, box cutters, and pallet jacks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Primarily indoors within the market or warehouse setting.
  • Warehouse conditions may reach temperatures of up to 95 degrees.

HAND COORDINATION:

  • Involves fine manipulation, gross manipulation, simple grasping, and power grip with the dominant hand.

NOTE: Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. El Super reserves the right to modify this job description based on operational needs.

Compensation: Minimum wage based on location.
