About the Role
MaineHealth is seeking a skilled Insurance Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing timely and accurate responses to customers and providers, primarily through telephone interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer and provider inquiries in a professional manner, providing timely and accurate information.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a changing workload, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple simultaneous work demands.
- Collaborate with teams of individuals in diverse settings, adapting to changing organizational priorities and processes.
- Manage conflict, stress, and multiple simultaneous work demands in an effective, professional manner.
- Utilize computer software, including Microsoft Office, to learn new software systems quickly and efficiently.
