ResponsibilitiesThe EHR Application Support Analyst will work under supervision to assist with the design, development, testing, training, and support of the electronic health record (EHR) system. This role is intended for individuals to gain familiarity with the system, the implementation process, and the essential functions of an analyst within Prime IT. The Analyst will provide support in various tasks until they demonstrate the capability to operate with reduced oversight.

QualificationsRequired qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Business, or Computer/Information Sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Analyst must be certified or proficient in the assigned application or achieve proficiency within three months of employment.
- Familiarity with the implementation and/or maintenance of Electronic Health Record systems.
- Knowledge of IT or operational processes in clinical or revenue cycle areas within a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of healthcare operations, integrated delivery systems, and the application of IT in healthcare environments.
- Technical expertise in relevant areas demonstrated through documented experience in analysis, process design, workflow, research, and support of EHR systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and be available for on-call support as needed.
- Availability to assist facilities during holidays, nights, and weekends.
Preferred qualifications:
- One year of relevant experience in an IT/Clinical environment or within healthcare operations is preferred.
- Prior experience with EHR implementations and/or support is advantageous.
Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, allowing employees to customize their benefits to meet individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and various voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, encompassing wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranges from $24.00 to $32.40. The specific starting compensation will be determined during the hiring process, considering factors such as skillset, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
