Maintenance Technician II Job Description

At Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Observe devices in operation to locate the root cause of the problem
  • Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
  • Examine parts to detect imperfections and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Repair and/or replace defective parts and test devices to observe performance
  • Perform tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems
  • Recondition and repair machine tools
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities
  • Basic to mid-level mechanical and electrical skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team while carrying out verbal and written instructions from the supervisor
  • Valid state driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a dependable vehicle
  • Proven experience as a leader of an industrial maintenance team or a similar role
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management
