Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on equipment, including observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problems, dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and testing devices to observe performance.
- Support and back up other team members as directed by leadership, update records in CMMS, and assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Provide inputs in CI activities, processes, results, and cost savings, and perform carpentry and plumbing tasks as needed.
- Setup and operate multiple machining operations, including CNC, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Perform welding tasks and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly encouraged.
- Basic to mid-level mechanical and electrical skills, including electrical maintenance, HVAC, and mechanical repair, with the aptitude to learn advanced skills.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, analyze information, and make informed decisions based on that information.
- Valid state driver's license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle.
