Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on equipment, including observing devices in operation, dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, examining parts to detect imperfections, and adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Repair and/or replace defective parts, test devices to observe performance, and perform tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.
  • Recondition and repair machine tools, and perform carpentry and plumbing tasks as needed.
  • Setup and operate multiple machining operations, including CNC, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
  • Perform welding tasks, and assist in the development, build, and implementation of test equipment to meet specific production needs.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly encouraged.
  • Basic to mid-level mechanical and electrical skills, including electrical maintenance, HVAC, and mechanical repair, with the aptitude to learn advanced skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, analyze information, and make informed decisions based on that information.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team, and adhere to all safety regulations and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a leader of an industrial maintenance team or a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heat treat, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety requirements for Industrial Maintenance Operations with a focus on heat treat operations.
  • Strict adherence to safety regulations and policies.
  • Excellent planning, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

The duties of this position will be performed primarily in a factory environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to travel in and around a factory, office facilities, and around the job site out-of-doors, safely climb and/or maneuver over, under, and around equipment, use close and color vision, operate tools and equipment as required, and lift or move 50+ pounds occasionally.
