Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, performing specific services to meet the personal needs and comforts of patients. The Medical Assistant must understand the needs of the practice and support the mission and values of WakeMed.

Responsibilities:
• Perform various clinical and administrative tasks to support the delivery of patient care
• Work interdependently with other medical professionals to achieve quality patient outcomes
• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Support the mission and values of WakeMed

Requirements:
• 2 Years Clinical - Medical Assistant experience preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Certification as a Medical Assistant required within 24 months of hire
• Registration as a Medical Assistant required within 24 months of hire

Work Schedule:
Variable shifts, 12 hours, 8am-8pm

Weekend and Call Requirements:
As needed
