Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Laboratory Technician to join our team at Penn Medicine. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing vascular laboratory testing, patient assessment, and communicating results to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of vascular laboratory testing, including arterial, venous, cerebrovascular, and visceral testing
  • Assess patients, obtain pertinent history, and review orders to ensure accurate testing
  • Prepare preliminary reports of test results and communicate with referring healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including worksheets, photographs, and computerized reports
  • Assist in quality assurance and improvement programs, regulatory compliance, and ICAVL accreditation
  • Perform clinical workflow duties, including entering charges into Penn Chart
Requirements
  • ARDMS or RDMS or RVS or RVT certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of accredited ultrasound technology program
  • 1+ years of clinical experience in performing vascular lab testing
