Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a range of vascular laboratory tests, including arterial, venous, cerebrovascular, and visceral testing, according to established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform vascular laboratory testing, including arterial, venous, cerebrovascular, and visceral testing, according to department protocols.
  • Assess patients and obtain pertinent vascular history, utilizing resources such as Penn Chart and ProSolv to obtain clinically necessary information.
  • Prepare accurate and complete preliminary reports, working independently without direct physician supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers in relaying test results and determining specific testing required.
  • Assist in the clerical, reception, and billing duties as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and lab supplies appropriately, exhibiting stewardship in the use of equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS or RDMS or RVS or RVT certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Must maintain CPR certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in performing vascular lab testing.
