About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Station Technician to join our team at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a 64-hour every two weeks position on the Night shift, with 8 hour shifts and every other weekend. The starting base rate of pay for the position is $22.50, with opportunities for higher pay for candidates with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist professional caregivers in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, and setting up and maintaining patient rooms.
  • Perform a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance of patient care unit desk area functions.
  • Coordinate the flow of communication on a patient care unit.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required.
  • One or more of the following: successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program, six months of recent direct care experience, current enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program, or current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
