We are seeking a skilled Nursing Station Technician to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Nursing Station Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support on our fast-paced unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assist professional caregivers in delivering patient care, including transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining rooms, and reordering supplies.
- Maintain unit desk area functions, including answering phones, processing admissions, discharging and transferring forms, transcribing orders, and assembling patient charts.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless patient care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required.
- One of the following: successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program, another Fairview-sponsored Nursing Assistant program, six months of recent direct care experience, current enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program, or current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
- Previous experience as a Health Unit Coordinator, Nursing Assistant, or other related experience.
