About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Station Technician to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Nursing Station Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Set up and maintain patient rooms, including stocking supplies and equipment
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to patient requests
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • One or more of the following:
    • Successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program
    • Six months of recent direct care experience in a long-term, home care, or acute care setting
    • Current enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program, with completion of one semester of clinical rotation
    • Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
