Stability and Control Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Stability and Control Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor. This role will be responsible for planning and conducting stability and control analysis using theoretical developments, wind tunnel, and flight data.
Key Responsibilities:- Predict flight results and compare predictions to flight data.
- Oversee flight and ground tests to gather data required to understand and resolve issues.
- Provide real-time flight test support using telemetry.
- Reduce flight data for use in engineering analyses.
- Work with other engineering disciplines to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and extend standard stability and control and flight mechanics analysis tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- 0 years of experience required.
- Knowledgeable in developing, using, and validating specialized flight mechanics prediction tools.
- Strong programming skills in tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
- Capability with aerodynamic prediction tools such as vortex-lattice and panel codes.
