About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Systems Engineer to join our team in developing and integrating electronic flight control systems for commercial aircraft.

Job Description
  • Design, develop, and certify electronic flight control systems, including Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) and Auto-Throttle (AT)
  • Analytical design and development of closed-loop control systems, including control topology/architecture and control law structure development
  • Defines system integration, verification, and validation testing requirements, test procedures, and supports laboratory, ground test, and flight test activities
  • Execution of AFCS integration, Safety-Of-Flight, and certification testing
  • Reviews system safety documents, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or other related field
  • At least 7 years of direct experience as a control systems engineer in actual aircraft development programs (Part 23 or 25)
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal teamwork skills
  • Experience with Mathworks MATLAB/Simulink, Microsoft Office Suites, and FAA & EASA certification requirements
  • Working knowledge of control systems, including high integrity and fail-operational system architectures and data bus protocols
