Job Summary:

As a Senior Controls Engineer at Entegee, you will specialize in custom automation projects and contribute to the company's reputation as a major player in controls and robotic solutions worldwide. Your expertise in electrical engineering will drive technical excellence, ensuring high-quality results that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and support to various engineering disciplines on projects involved
• Develop statements of work from limited customer specifications and aircraft surveys
• Research/review engineering data to determine efficient modification/alteration methods
• Produce design data for manufacture/assembly/installation of aircraft modifications/components
• Perform preliminary engineering analysis for substantiating aircraft modifications
• Coordinate Certification/Substantiation activities with Engineering UM's & ODA staff

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related scientific field, or equivalent experience/coursework
• Six years of industry experience in electrical/avionic design for transport category aircraft (for Level 3)
• Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations, certification processes, and requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge of standard aircraft components, materials, fabrication practices, aviation hardware, and proper application in design
• Expertise in engineering principles for Electrical Load Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis reports
• Proficiency in using technical data such as engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, illustrated parts catalogs, wiring diagrams etc.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and ability to learn new technologies quickly

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree in Engineering
• Experience with auto-CAD or comparable program

Pay Details: $45.00 to $65.00 per hour
