Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator RN plays a vital role in the coordination of departmental clinical operations, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient communication among perioperative staff. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on supporting the mission and values of WakeMed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate admissions and transfers to optimize patient flow
  • Delegate patient care to appropriate personnel based on needs, abilities, and expertise
  • Identify effective communication and coordination methodologies to ensure smooth processes within the perioperative period
  • Support anesthesia personnel, surgeons, nursing staff, and other departments as needed
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in a nursing-related area, with a focus on critical care or surgical services
  • Graduate nursing degree required, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Registered Nurse licensure required, with national certification in nursing preferred
Work Schedule

This role requires weekend work, with a schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am-7:30pm. Call requirements are as needed.
