Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating across all engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement subsystem models using Model Based System Engineering tools and methods
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement subsystem models
  • Communicate test equipment needs and requirements to Test Equipment designers
  • Interact with Technical SMEs to fully understand the subsystem and identify and resolve issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years' prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 3 years of experience
  • Experience in Systems Engineering or other Engineering discipline such as test requirements development, test methodologies, test requirements documents, integration, verification, and/or validation for test
  • S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) demonstrated experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) tools, such as IBM Rational Manager/Rhapsody
  • Knowledge of Model Based Engineering processes, techniques, and tools (Rhapsody and IBM Rational Model Manager and/or Cameo Systems Modeler/Enterprise Architect and Teamwork Cloud preferred, with understanding of Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and/or Unified Modeling Language (UML)
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering standard views such as Block Definition Diagrams, Context Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams
