About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Areté. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for executing multiple aspects of the systems engineering discipline, including requirements decomposition, system performance analysis, and system integration and test activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements decomposition into software/hardware functions
  • System performance analysis and trade studies
  • Oversight of software/hardware development and system integration and test activities
  • Interaction with development teams, production teams, program leadership, and customer regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure
Requirements
  • Eligible to obtain and hold a Secret / Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 9+ years of experience with BS/BA, 7+ years with MS/MA, and 4+ years with PhD
Preferred Qualifications
  • Jama for Requirements and Test Management
  • Ability to write scripts for test automation and data analysis
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools like Agile, Scrum
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, ISO, ASME
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $155,000, as well as a range of benefits, including generous PTO and leave times, flexible scheduling, and a 401K retirement plan contribution.
