Job Title: Clinical Psychologist Associate Trainee

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is a leading provider of correctional healthcare services, and we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Psychologist Associate Trainee to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Clinical Psychologist Associate Trainee, you will work under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist to provide psychological services to patients receiving mental health services in a correctional setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapeutic interventions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and evaluations on offenders referred for examination and/or treatment.
  • Prepare treatment plans for offenders requiring specialized therapy.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Seek supervision and consultation on mental health issues from clinical supervisors as needed.
  • Complete didactic training offered by supervisors to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as a member of the Center Crisis Intervention Team to provide crisis intervention services to offenders experiencing a psychological or emotional crisis.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current CPR certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute).
  • Ability to demonstrate eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist through completion of a licensure exam.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced correctional setting and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
