Job SummaryThe Polysomnographic Technologist II plays a crucial role in the success of sleep disorder function testing and scoring at OSF HealthCare. This position requires a high level of expertise in sleep technology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals to achieve optimal efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive sleep testing and analysis under the supervision of the Medical Director or designee.
- Supervise Polysomnographic Trainees and Technologists I.
- Ensure accurate and timely scoring of sleep disorder function tests.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Credentialing in sleep technology.
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program in polysomnography or equivalent experience.
- Associate's degree in an allied healthcare field.
- BRPT (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) CCSH or NBRC (Registered Respiratory Therapist) RRT.
