Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in Pontiac, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessment, intervention, and consultation, and will be able to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement interventions and strategies to support student success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss student progress and plans.
  • Support crisis intervention and provide guidance on coping strategies and resilience building.
  • Collaborate with school staff to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in School Psychology.
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to school psychology.
