As a Professional Staff Nurse, you'll be responsible for providing patient care activities for a group of patients and their families. You'll work collaboratively with the care team to achieve desired patient outcomes and establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
You'll also be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining productive working relationships internally and externally
- Demonstrating an understanding of cultural differences and holding peers accountable for healthy relationships
- Communicating with peers and management any safety hazards identified in the workplace
- Providing detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families
